BIOGRAPHY
Nasar has been performing as a professional ETA since 2004. He started listening to Elvis from the age of 10
This was the start of what was to become a life long love and admiration for the legend of a man who has captivated the hearts and minds of countless individuals around the world
He came into the limelight upon entering an Elvis contest in Blackpool (European Championships) and spring boarded to a world with countless job offers to demonstrate his new found talent
He has been been in local and national tabloids and performed live on SKY TV
In 2007, he was selected as one of seven artists to represent the UK in Memphis, Tennessee – the birthplace of the King
Nasar travels around the country performing his tribute act to captivated audiences in clubs, bars and restaurants
He is available to entertain at corporate functions, wedding receptions, birthdays and other celebratory events
THE SHOW
Nasar performs songs from the 50’s / 60’s and 70’s through his two shows the ‘68 Comeback Special’ and ‘The Vegas Years‘
Each show is typically of 60 minutes duration (or more) with a short interval between sets to allow for costume change
Nasar ‘s costumes are made by the same company that made the suits for Elvis himself (B&K Enterprises), so there are not shortcuts to authenticity
Many artists limit the length of their sets as they are only familiar with a limited number of songs
Nasar has close to 100 songs in his memory / repertoire and is capable of changing voice to suit the appropriate era.
You will hear all the familiar classics such as Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes, Don’t Be Cruel, Devil In Disguise, Return To Sender, A Little Less Conversation, Viva Las Vegas through to Suspicious Minds, In The Ghetto, My Way, Burning Love and not forgetting American Trilogy for the climactic ending
EQUIPMENT
High-end ‘ElectroVoice‘ ‘RCF‘ and ‘Dynacord‘ PA equipment is utilised in addition to LED lit backdrops and laser lighting as appropriate
